Role 1: Ecommerce Re-platform Program Lead  ( interim role for 6 months )

We are looking for an eCommerce Technical Lead to manage a number of complex, multi-disciplinary eCommerce technology projects, primarily a replatform but also addressing all systems in the wider eCommerce architecture. You will be responsible for planning requirements with internal customers and ushering projects through the entire project lifecycle using Agile methodology. You are comfortable managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You’re equally at home explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to senior management as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development.

As eCommerce Technical Lead, you will work closely with product owners and business change leads and be responsible for the planning and coordination of technical delivery across internal Company IT, Group IT and multiple SIs.

Experience & Knowledge:

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5-10 years of programme management experience managing technical projects, in an eCommerce environment, involving multiple teams/stakeholders, resource planning and budgeting/forecasting
Experience of leading complex Ecommerce implementation/replatforming projects such as Hybris, IBM, Oracle etc.
Experience of Agile working, ideally Scrum certified
Proficient in collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence etc
Demonstrated issue resolution experience

Role 2: Senior Product owner ( permanent job )

You will be accountable for designing and delivering the strategic technology roadmap for applications that support the development of Companies propositions.

You need to be a natural leader and able to work closely with all stakeholders to define and deliver the technology strategy for your portfolio for Company and also develop relationships with colleagues and suppliers to create a pipeline of innovation that drives our business forward and delivers the plans that underpin that strategy.

Your portfolio will be made up of technologies within the Ecommerce architecture of Company

The Senior Product Owner should have not only develop strategy but should also execute and deliver with the teams (as a PO does). Add:

*    Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy

*    Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories

*    Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on

*    Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product

Experience & Knowledge:

BA/BSc degree or equivalent practical experience
A track record of delivering complex technology change in a fast-paced organisation
A track record of managing multiple stakeholders and strong examples of clear and concise communication
A history of successfully delivering cross functional projects and a strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
A strong understanding of eCommerce

 

Role 3: Ecommerce Product Owner / Project Manager Interim role ( 6-12 months )

The Ecommerce Product Owner/ Project Manager will join a team of technical and business change managers focused on identifying and delivering customer experience and website enhancements. Agile development principles will be used. The Product Owner/ Project Manager will work across business and technical teams to identify and prioritize a product backlog and manage its delivery via our in house and 3rd party development teams.

You will be a polished Technical Product Owner/ Project Manager who can ensure that business and technical requirements are captured, sized and prioritised and delivered in an efficient manner.

You have a combination of a technical background, a strong business orientation and can interface cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders. You will use your project management and technical skills to communicate technical aspects of the implementation to stakeholders.

Experience & Knowledge:

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience leading the development of Ecommerce websites is required, including hands on experience of Ecommerce platforms like Magento, Intershop, Hybris etc.
Experience working within cross-functional teams to deliver projects/products with multiple dependencies and constraints
Experience working with Agile development principles
Experience working directly with creative team members and development engineers
